The family Eublepharis, is part of the gekko's
they are desert animals, with a tough and rough skin.
Their eyelids can be closed and they lick their eye often.
Notice when you look sidewards to this lizard, that you can almost look right though the head of this lizard.
Just a few thin layers of skin in between.
This family really has too nails unlike most gekko's,
Eublepharis grows up to 25 cm or 10 inches.

Eublepharis Macularius, the common species can be found in Afganistan, Pakistan, and NW-India,
These are perfect lizards to start with.
Eublepharis subspecies be very expensive,
as the subspecies depending how rare the species is.
Cage demands
For 2 lizards 60x30x30 cm or 23.5x11.5x11.5 inches.
For 3 lizards 80x40x40 cm or 31.5x16x16 inches.
2 males in one cage and you will find one wounded or death!
Put sand (like in the sandpit) on the floor and some (flag) stones to hide under.
Lay one stone directly under the spott so the animals can rise theire bodyheat.
Tempeture: 27-33 celcius or 80-91 fahrenheit at night: 20 celcius or 68 fahrenheit.
RV: as low as posible (desert).
Place a box with soil in it, you can use the boxes of the chinese food.
Don't foreget to place a waterbowl.
Feeding
Baby mice are perfect.
Cricket are good as wel,
but the eggs of the female wil be soft and vulnerable.
Difference in gender
This can be distinguist by the pre-anale porien.
The little balls under the cloaca,
when these are obviousely visable you're looking at the balls of a male.
Mating and reproduction
Give a winter huybernation by 18-20 celcius or 64-68 fahrenheit.
5-10 times a year the females lay 1-2 eggs,
almost always in the box with soil.

Yet they do strongly vary in price.
The lizards useally sit quitte still but with some crickets it will run.
